  • by old and new I mean projects made in different time but with construct 2 but if I try to make them low they are ugly in browser and I'm testing them in browser

by the way what's spriter please explain..

    thanks...

  • I'm developing the same platform game I was developing months ago with new sprites and the game when running in browser with the new project it's in slow motion but with the old project its fast and wonderful. I'm using Internet explorer on windows 8. I runned fps check with the construct text object and the fps was 59-60 on both projects. As I know 60 fps is amazingly great. So what can be wrong. I'm exporting the pngs in bigger resolution and then Im lowering in Construct 2 to keep the quality. I'm using the stable r139. What do you recommend to keep the quality and performance. And on the old project the quality is same and maybe better that the new project and still it's faster.

Please tell me how to fix this I need to make the game fast..

    Thanks...

  • Thank you friend you are right new motherboards have temperature control and my 8 years old computer didn't have temperature control but I was afraid about the onboard gpu because it doesn't have fan but as you said the motherboard is keeping it safe

  • So I should stop making games in Construct2 ????

I've read thst inkscape doesn't use gpu

  • Hi I've been using Inkscape and Construct 2 on my old pc (Celeron D cpu and a FX5200 GPU) and I think that inkscape destroyed my pc it started to glitch and was destroyed. Now I have new pc with intel core 2 quad cpu and onboard gpu and intel gma 3100 (not x3100). Can my pc handle Inkscape and Construct 2? Does this two programs uses GPU, because I noticed it started to glitch in Construct 2 and when I check the GPU was loaded 20-40% I was working in both programs at the same time and I closed them but still was 20% so I restarted and it was ok again...

Please guys tell me I don't want to destroy this pc too..

Does this programs use GPU (I know that they use CPU) and how much...

And is this pc good for this two programs....

    Thanks..

  • I know that but thanks for helping I have found the right sprites with great quality

  • One thing what size do you recommend for the sprites and the background for a platform game in a super Mario style for best quality and performance. I want to make it for smartphones like android and iphone...Thanks

  • But on my other project the quality is very good. Could be because of the image size? It's something like 3800x240 I'm using the whole background for the game it's a platform one

  • It's Linear selected but it's the same

  • Hi I just started to develop a game I tried the program before but now every png I import in Construct 2 is in very bad quality and it looks like a blur effect I tried with beta and the stable but it's same on inkscape the pngs are great even in zoomed but I know that the svg format keeps the quality even when zoomed but on the windows 8 photo viewer the quality was great same as inkscape but on construct 2 is bad and when zoomed is worse I'm planning to make games for smartphones, but I have this problem I tried Construct 2 months ago and it didn't have this problem. I'm running windows 9 core 32 bit. How can I fix this I tried making png bigger but it's same when I zoom again and when playing the game it's terrible. Please tell me how to fix it did I turn some option on or something else. I want to make platform style game...

    Thank you :)
