  • Everytime I use AdMob ads in my project,after I export it into Intelxdk I simulate It but all It shows is a black screen and the same goes when I do the finished build,but if I do It without the ads the game works perfectly fine.I'm using the latest versions of both C2 (r239) and IntelXdk (3759)

    Same happens on my end. But I guess the problem is, that the corodva admob plugin will not be installed.

    I tried to add it manually at the Plugin Management Tab. But the plugin did not appear after adding.

    Maybe it's an issue with the latest intel xdk version.

    I don't want to update to the latest beta, but maybe it's worth a try.

    I'm not 100% sure, but you can do this with the touch plugin (Touch - > Compare Acceleration).

  • I suspect your events are being negated by the player's max speed setting in the platform behaviour. I suggest you temporarily increase the max platform speed to enable this (and maybe change the deceleration as well).

  • Hi guys,

    this might sound stupid, but I'm not sure if I use the "Set vector X" action right.

    I'm trying to make an attack where the player moves fast forward, so I decided to set the vector x of the player to 500 (in order that the player would move 500 px in a second).

    This works fine for "Set Vector Y" but however the player just moves a little. Even if a set the value to 100000 it still just moves a little bit.

    I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thank you!

    I think I will first try to play with Construct 2's GameCenter function, and if I can't get it to work. I will then try one of those Cordova/CocoonJS plugins.

    S'ry about that I'd really prefer to use C2 functions instead of depending of external ones. For now, even by googling it, I can't find any detailed tutorials.

  • Just came across this old topic because I'm facing the same issue now. Is there a specific reason why jump thru doesn't work with physics Ashley ?

    I'm using the physic behavior for my player and the world. Some platforms have the jump thru and physic behavior, but then jump thru doesn't work like it should anymore.

    They're really well written! I now have my 1st Construct 2 game available for internal tests via TestFlight from Apple.

    Anyway, may I ask you if you know any good tutorials to implement GameCenter features in a Construct 2 game?

    Mostly to see how codes/events should look like.

    I would like to add a GameCenter leaderboard to my game, but I'm wondering if that's possible by just using GameCenter plugin from Construct 2, and not using an external one.

    I dont know what is game template, it's like capx file with event sheet, isn't it?

    If like that, how can this license is single project only? Because if i buy this template for once, i already know the workflow about it and i can using it several time in my own for another game. And how you control it?

    yes it's a capx file with the leaderboard function in it. Yes you would need one license for each game you use my template (that's why it's very inexpensive).

    You find the terms of use & the license at the "License" tab when viewing the item. The license agreement comes from Scirra.

    It's nothing I have written. Here is a small excerpt of the license agreement.
