  • Yeah, I get that as well. Shame. Stopped me using it for water. I think it's because the effect is applied to the screen as opposed to the object.

    I don't know whether it's a glitch, but it makes the water object useless for my needs <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I set up a pretty decent pause. I think I changed the speed of the music to 0 when paused, and back to 1 when unpaused. I don't use stop unless I want it to stop forever.

  • Could you not use actual physics to pick up the object rather than them sticking to it? At once point, a box was being supported by a single arms tip.

  • What about Cocoon? Would it work with that?

  • Is this made using Construct 2?

I recall people saying multiplayer games were not really possible just yet.

  • Sorry to res this one, but you can tell I used the search function. Rather than spin, how much would it hit performance to have the initial direction of the particle change? I have smoke from a volcano, and each particle looks the same. If I could add a spin to just the initial particle, it would make each one look different.

    This possible?

  • I'd like this too! Not understanding devMidgard comment though... You get nervous using construct, and hold ctrl then use the mouse wheel? I think it's a brilliant idea, saves zooming out, seeing where you want to go, then zooming back in and scrolling across. Like Supreme Commander controls!!! Great!

  • Yeah it would be good to have a way to toggle them, like a checkbox in the 'view' menu.

Yeah, that way we could have them start disabled, just like booleans. I'd also like to be able to toggle them:

Upon pressing space, toggle effect active. I know you can work around this easily enough, but it's nice to have the option.

  • You can set "Enable WebGL" to off while you working in editor.

Good idea, but I have to remember to turn it on each time I test the level, which I do quite often. Seems odd I can enable/disable them in the editor, but not in the layout.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Say for example I want every single object in my game to have the sketch shader, but I want the player to be able to toggle it whenever they want.

So, to do this, I put every object into the same family, and then applied the shader to that family. This does what I want in-game, but when I try to edit the levels, they all have the shader applied. This isn't such a big deal when it comes to sketch, but lens? Glass? Then it gets hard.

So, my question is... how do I toggle the shader on and off in layout mode?

  • In my opinion, definitely! It has a lot of the functionality to make a pretty decent one right now. I'm waiting for a built in path finding behaviour, and then that's the next one I'm going to make!

  • The closest I could get was a warp effect with a lens effect included. It wasn't what I wanted, but maybe someone else has a better method.

  • Shame the title doesn't shout out to Tom too! They're both great at what they do!

    Congratulationson a fantastic product guys!

  • All you need is a separate layout for that. Then when click, change layout to...

  • Woo!!!
