  You don't need the variable you can just use 'is not jumping' condition directly

  The jump mode was taken as an example only.

  If a person needs the display to not work at some point in time, then you need to create a variable for all events where the display will be active.

  In events where the display should be turned off - the variable should be equal to zero.

  The example will be based on the jump of an object with the Platform behavior.

  We don't need the object to respond to the TOUCH of the "JUMP button" while it's jumping.

  We dont need double jump.

  We need the TOUCH mode to be DISABLE while the object is jumping.

  1) [Your Player Sprite] -> Platform -> Simulate Control -> [Select Jump]
