  • Looks really good! Great work.

  • I've done one Ludum Dare. I learned a lot and I realized what my limitations were. I learned so much during these 4 months. I went from being a complete noob to being a noob that's aware of his limitations... hehe.

I can't wait for this! I wonder what the theme will be...

  • Wow, this game looks pretty sweet. I like the graphics and the theme. The trailer is pretty impressive, too. The only thing I dislike is the walk-cycle of the characters. They look pretty weird and clash with the rest of the game, which is a shame!

Good luck with your project and kickstarter. I might pledge if I have some money when it starts.

  • I totally get where OP is coming from. I had the same issue when I started using Construct. You need to understand how C2's code is structured and you'll understand very well where you can paste different type of blocks and where. Just try stuff and get used to it.

CTRL + C, CTRL + V are just second nature to me now.

  • That's why making games is hard, Your solution was pretty creative, but also lazy as your game involves pixel art, which does not work in the way you'd like it to. I wish it worked, though, it would also save me a lot of time

  • For sure, for sure. That's what demos are all about. Can't wait to see this in action, though.

  • Looks really nice! Woah, can't wait to try it. Demo soon? Hehe

  • Wow, this is such a good idea. Curating games, showcasing them, analysing some of them, keeping up with Construct 2 updates, commentary... etc. I hope this grows and that I will be able to collaborate eventually!

  • There's a difference between "mirrored" and "flipped", check the manual.

  • OP, is this your first project? The scope seems quite large and given the video you posted... just asking!

  • Found the problem. It was the "Honey" add-on for Chrome, if anyone encounters the same problem, now you know how to fix it.

  • It happened with all my capx. I thought it happened to someone else, but your response kind of tells me the opposite. Thanks for the answer, though. I'll look into it.

I thought sendMessage was a Construct 2 function. It isn't?
