  • Oh for sure, I didn't meant to say your plugin wasn't worth it or to insult you in any way. It's just that I have to deliver a product and I want to make sure that it will be as good as it can. I'm hoping I can provide a good product thanks to your plugin.

  • In this case, I actually need Admob to work well, as that is one of the requirements from my client. I guess I'd have to test it out to see how it works and how I can fix it. It would just be a shame to throw away my money for something that doesn't work. I'm guessing in the worst case scenario, I could just e-mail you for plugin support after purchase?

  • Little by little! Ad one element today, read a tutorial or the manual, try things.

    When I make games, there's a lot of stuff I can do with simple behaviors.

    A platform is not a platform anymore, when I add the rotation behavior. It becomes more dangerous and scary! Almost like a giant saw that I can put on my level.

    Want to put an annoying bird on your game? Just use the SINE behavior and set it to "horizontal". Simple things like that can help you build more interesting games and levels. Don't be afraid to try them out.

  • Cool. What type of banner position problems? I need to put the ad in a certain part of the game screen, I'm not quite sure if I want to go with interstitial (but I could... I don't know). Please let me know more about this and if there is any fix. (If you can provide an example of positioning problems, I'd appreciate it)

  • Then yes, I think you're approaching this the wrong way. You're making the WHOLE game go faster. You should only change the parameters of the elements that have any incidence in increasing the game's difficulty. Such as enemies, platforms, etc. So you should do this in a "case per case" basis instead of changing the whole game.

    You have to change your approach and this problem that you're having won't happen anymore. Good luck

  • Really cool. I wish I had started making games when I was your age. Starting off, you already got something going : you know how to use Construct 2 and how to make games. I really enjoyed your level design. You managed to make the game more difficult each level, while teaching the player what each element did.

    Add more levels, more elements and try to combine them and see how you can make your game more fun. Also, a few colours here and there wouldn't hurt. And stop saying your game is crappy, because it is not! It's your first game, be proud of what you've accomplished!

  • From what I understand, that could be good for us. But I don't really get the documentation about monetization / android / iOS when it comes to Construct 2. It's very contradictory and not very clear. I'm not even sure of what works and what doesn't at the moment. I wish the information was a bit more consistent.

  • If I get Phonegap Admob and Phonegap GameCenter, I will be able to export my app to both iOS (with Admob working + game center API working) and Android (adMob) ? Is it possible to add an ad of a certain dimension, that shows in the lower part of the screen?

    I know how to use Intel XDK to export my apps and make them work on an Android device. Haven't done it for iOS yet. Is it as easy?

    I need to know if this will work with no issues, as I am trying to find the most efficient way to integrate these things I listed on my last project. Let me know if this is working well as of now, thank you.
