  • codah, thank you for the reply.

Arrays and containers, you say! I'll take a look and see what I can come up with.

  • Hello!

I am quite new to Construct 2. Have been working with it for a few weeks. And still using the free version.

But nontheless I have drafted out a game that I would like to develop. I have already prototyped some of the mechanics I plan on using.

On one of these I would like to get some feedback/help from you.

I am trying to create a userfriendly snapping system. This is for building/modyfing players vehicle.

    Here's what I have:

    Just the mechanics.

I don't know if that's the most economical way of implementing it or if there is some better/smarter way. Or I should scrap it all and start again.

Maybe some of you are willing to take a look at the capx file I attached and give some advice

  • Thank you for the quick reply.

It really seems more complex. But I guess that's because all the great artwork you have made

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • This looks really cool! (Y) I like it a lot!

Maybe you could share some secrets on how you created it? Just randomly placing different sprites seems too easy.

Also, did you create all the art?

  • I understand, but there are other ways to fight with spammers and annoying messages. PM is a basic thing for communication on forums. I spent a couple of hours gaining that rep points but still havn`t got enough. A man wanted to cooperate with me, but I couldn`t send him a reply, that`s upsetting.

    Check this link: https://www.scirra.com/me/rep

Subscribing to blog etc. gives a lot of rep.

  • Dungeon Buster has been Greenlit!

This is great news! Congrats! (Y)

  • Tried it on my own.

Left hand vs right, was a long fight.

    Left hand won.

    Fun and simple game!

  • Hello, guys'n'girls!

    I'm Allar from Estonia.

I have been playing computer games for a long time - feels like forever. And lately have started to think why not create one myself. But have not found the right tools for it as I don't have great programming skills.

But few weeks ago I was browsing youtube and happened onto a Construct 2 tutorial. Its user interface felt really intuitive. And creating basic prototypes of games seemed easy. So I tried it myself.

Since then I have completed some tutorials and have gotten lots of inspiration. Now I'm starting to make a draft for a game I'd like to develop.

Ofcourse I know that at the moment I have just scratched the surface of C2. So as I start the developing process I am counting on all of You on helping me out and answering lots of noobish questions.

I'll be looking forward to meeting You in other threads!
