    Plus in the end i think windows media player handles the actual playing of the mp3 (not sure about that).

  • I will in future, I know how annoying "it crashed loads" sounds. But if i recall correctly it was things just like me running the program, and the car movement would soemtimes not work (when i ran the program the object just wasn't there).

    But I'll let you know in future.

    While we wait for builds it will be fun to see that, and the nightly build stuff etc.

  • Heh dont expect much, it didn't exactly take long. Although construct did crash loads when making it which extended the whole process.. However im unable to replicate the issues, but im sure Ashley will track all these little issues down by 1.0 (or before!)

  • Niice! Some really good fixes there. Have you skipped the fading when klicking file, new, and things like that or am i just dreaming? Everything seems to run much faster!

    When I mouse off the file menu, the fade out takes AGES and is really slow. Not sure why, maybe its something wrong with my GFX card? But i think we should be able to turn off the fading for the file menu.

  • Timtim that sounds great! Can you set encryption keys? The blowfish object I've used allowed setting of encryption keys etc. Of course im not exactly sure how blowfish encryption works.

    MK - Hows the extension going?

  • That can probably be easily done manually. Its just a case of fading tracks in and out when certain events happen that trigger certains moods (battle, building etc.)

    I just threw together this basic tank example with a turret.

    ARROW KEYS- Move

    MOUSE- Move turret

    LEFT MOUSE CLICK- Fire!

    You can easily change the speed of the bullets by changing the variable in the tank object.

    This is to help some newbies with shooting etc. Let me know if you need any help etc.
