I asked about collision not long ago, basically 'collision' and 'overlap' are the same thing (except collision has a hidden "trigger once" next to it) except with 'overlap' since it is not a "trigger condition" you can place it further down a list of conditions so it's not checked as often.
Contruct 2 currently can't work above 60fps.
I don't think that's true, Ash told me somewhere that the 60 limit is dependant on refresh rate so if you have a 120hz monitor it could go higher than 60.
Has anyone tested the performance of C2 games on this?
I think Scirra's David is making it.
I've never seen those popups, so the answer is probably yes.
Protip: "gameplay" includes graphics, unless you can't see the screen. What you mean is graphics vs mechanics, both are roughly equally important depending on the genre of game.

I wish there was a way to check VRAM usage in Construct 2.
Is there much difference between the collision and overlap conditions? Just wondering in case 1 of them is more efficient or something. Is the collision trigger checked every tick? Whereas with an overlap condition, I have more control as I can use it as a 3rd condition or a subevent, so the overlap is only checked when I need it to be. But if collision is a very efficient/simple/non-intensive condition then it doesn't matter which one I use?
If you click on 'view' in Construct 2 then click on 'theme', the 'office 2007' themes don't have the issue you mention.
I hope html5 performance will get significantly better this year across more machines.
Worked fine on my old laptop (and also works fine on my main Desktop), and I updated the intel drivers to the latest and now it can run WebGL! Although Chrome webgl runs it at 10 FPS as opposed to Canvas' 33 FPS. I would have preferred it if webgl didn't work now, lol.
That was probably my favourite Amon Amarth album.

Would it be awesome to move Sprite's action "Set mirrored" to the "appearance" category, rather than it being in the "animations" category?
Makes more sense to me, as its more of an appearance than a sequence thing.
I think its only not rounded with "Windows 7 Aero" :(
