  • if you want more control, perhaps just use a variable. Add 60*dt (1 a second basically) to a variable then check when it is greater than 300 (i think thats 5 seconds) then do what you wanted to do as actions then subtract 300.

  • It's possible. I did some of these things in my game, but my game was much smaller scope and still took over a year to finish.

  • I don't see what's exciting about paying a $100 fee, most games on the app store don't even make that much total.

  • Sure that's fine, I was using it on a terrible old XP laptop for a while and it still worked okay.

It just depends on what requirements you want your game to have, so something like what you specified is probably good because its a fairly average computer (although the average gaming computer would at least have an AMD or Nvidia card).

  • There's been a lot of comparisions in the past, look them up for more details.

TLDR: MMF2 is like Windows 95, Construct 2 is like Windows 7. Improved in every way.

  • firebelly, you say they have different lookup times... so which is faster?

  • I'm just waiting for them to fix/change that libudev.so.0 thingo.

  • Wow, you are fabulous! Thanks so much for making this better. :D

Thanks this is amazing, and it is essential tool with the new spritefont.

The only thing that needs fixing is the characters aren't LEFT aligned in their cells, which makes compatibility with the official spritefont difficult.

  • Thanks for the kind words :)

    Updated today:

    Version 1.1 changelog

    • Added red themed item set (obtained from chests/oils)
    • Added a new level (near the end)
    • Added Mac support for OSX 10.7 or newer (linux will come later, it doesn't work on the newer linux versions).
    • Changed and Fixed lots of little things (I forgot to note them all, sorry)

To update from an old version: login to your Humble Library and download Angvik from there (www.humblebundle.com/home). If you don't see it in your Humble Library then scroll up and click the "Claim Past Purchases" thing and it should show up after that.

  • This is essential, would be even better if it let you change the resolution as well while fullscreen so that performance doesn't decrease as much.

Also an option to disallow window resizing (or have it remember the size).

  • thanks

  • Anyone know how to change the icon of the Mac app that you create with node-webkit? (and linux too, but I'll see what that looks like later).

I used Resource Hacker to change the icon of the Windows exe, just want to know how to do it for the other platforms.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • These would still be great to have, especially since Classic had them!

  • You just need to practice with the plugin more, it's pretty easy to do this stuff.
