As I said, it was working fine two days ago. And since nothing changed on my machine, it must be a server related issue.

I just did a test build and it worked fine.

A build failing does not necessarily mean the build service is not working. It could have failed for another reason, such as a misconfigured addon or a broken third-party addon.

It was working fine until yesterday but now im facing the same problem discussed on this thread. Its probably not related with any misconfigured addon or a broken third-party addon since ive also tried to export a plugin/addon free minimal project.

  • Thank you very much dop2000, it's working now.

  • construct.net/en/tutorials/load-fill-array-json-file-2515

You can also check this thing called Google.

Well, I know google and I'm sure you know that but that's ok if you just have time to try to be fun, no problem... And I did it search before open a new question here, but unfortunately my experience with json data manipulation apparently its not so good as yours and any of the tutorials that I found had and example like mine. Thanks anyway!

    EDIT

And it will make more sense if you have linked this tutorial construct.net/en/tutorials/load-json-data-arrays-2566 that shows you how to load a array from a server

Unfortunately it also doesn't work because its json array format is different from mine and using the action array load from json in my case desnt work.

  • Should I first create a json object to store the data before load the urls into an array? If so how should be formatted this json file to store each url as an array individual element value?

  • EDIT

I have a list of URLs for individual images in JSON format on my server.

    The file looks like this:

    {"status":"success","response":{"urlLIST":["https://www.mydomain.com/43523455435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/43512882435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/48977352435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/435243400935765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/435244567835765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352431212335765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4356755442435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352678879435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352432367895765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352123433435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352437899875765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352678567435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/43524678889035765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352123423435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/43524560098435765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4352431265495765/image.png","https://www.mydomain.com/4354539982435765/image.png"]}}

How would be the best way to load each one of these urls (elements) into an array?

    Thank you!

  • You are right! multiplying by the expression im getting a pretty close result too (1081 × 1920) but not the exact dimensions. I will drop the updated "working" project here hope it can help someone to fin d a solution. Thank you very much for your help!

  • ok let me see if i understood you correctly. you are saying that what i need to do is resize the drawingcanvas object to 1080x1920, either multiply or divide it by the expression DrawingCanvas.pixelScale and then scaling out the image to fit the new DrawingCanvas object size? Since we couldn't fit the new object sizes on a screen with a smaller resolution (1280x720), should we resize the layout to a higher resolution as well? Im still getting some really weird results... Could you please take a look at the project file if you have some free time? Thanks!

  • Thank you very much for your reply.

Ive checked your link and the documentation but im still struggling to understand how to use the pixelScale expression. This is the first time I use the canvas object and since i unfortunately am not able to solve the problem with all information i have found and you have provided so far, i would really appreciate if you could be more clear in telling what should be done in this case. Thanks!

  • Hey, everyone!I need some help with this one...

What would be the the best way to achieve this task?

    Export/save an 1080x1920 image from a 1280x720 layout?

    Snapshot, Drawing canvas...?

    Thank you!

  • Does anyone still have this plugin and can kindly share? The link to dropbox is gone
