  • Hello all,

    I am looking for someone who can help me with developing a multiplayer trivia game. We have made several single player games and are quite experienced at it but we now want to include a P2P component to these games and would love some help in dealing with the multiplayer function of construct 3.

    Ideally, someone who can help us through putting together the right capx will solve our issue. Please point to anyone you might know of.

    I am by now a fairly experienced quiz maker for single player. Just looking for some help with multiplayer, which, at the stage I am at, does not appear to be simple :) But grateful for your quick response. Thank you

  • I am an educational game developer and find construct 3 quite amazing. I have looked hard but cannot find any help with a simple two-player trivia or quiz game. I know there is plenty of stuff on shoot-em-ups etc but I am looking for a simpler layout where two players can play the same quiz at the same time against each other. All suggestions deeply appreciated. Thank you.

    There are multiple ways to implement metaballs... You may have missed something important in whatever tutorial you were following.

    A huge thank you, Oosyrag :) Yes, I was applying alpha clamps to the objects instead of the layer :)

  • I saw a water tutorial where alpha clamps are used to create water like visuals. However, when I try and do the same in construct 3, the alpha clamps just do not work.

  • I am making a racing game and in the start layout, the player gets to pick one out of four options. How do I display his chosen option on the next layout?

  • When I hit the wrong answer, the answer box vanishes and the cross sprite is displayed. Great.

    But whenever I hit the right answer, both the tick and the cross are displayed no matter what I do.

    I am attaching the event sheet and the results here. Someone please help.
