Purchased Construct 2 but never received Redeem Codes

Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • Is it just me?, or has anyone else purchased Construct 2 but never received there Redeem Codes to unlock it. A few days ago I purchased the Bundle of Construct 2 with Spriter, but never received anything in my E-Mail. I then sent an E-Mail to Support with full details of my purchase and never received any answer back.

    Anyone else having this issue after purchasing their product(s)?

    Usually, as soon as someone buys a license, they automatically get a badge, as long as they login using the same email details as when they purchased the license.

    Also, whatever method you used to pay - Paypal etc - could be the one holding up the transaction over the festive period.

    I'm sure that Tom will deal with this as soon as he becomes aware.

  • I'd purchased before I registered via PayPal, then Registered to speak within the Forums when I got nothing in my E-Mail. I did however, get within the store as I just looked, Thank You Burvey, my Redeem Codes, to download both Construct 2 and Spriter, but even though I had no issues with Spriter, the Construct download just gave me a zipped file called wr97endk23d that has no execution files to install but instead 4 folders labeled Music, Sprites, Ambient FX, and Sound FX that don't do anything at all. So I then downloaded the free version of Construct, moved those folders into the Construct Directory, then tried to "Upgrade" to unlock the free version, which requires a C2License.txt file to unlock that I don't have.

    So I'm back to Square One. I do however have a working version of Spriter Pro though. LOL

  • Nevermind. I found out what I had to do. I had to download the C2License separately from the same Redeem Code that I downloaded that Zipped wr97endk23d from. I got it working now. I hope anyway. LOL

  • I've just purchased a personal license via card method, but then nothing happens, I still have it in my wishlist and there is no email whatsoever. I already contacted support though. Do I need to wait a couple more days? Thanks anyway

    Did you purchase from here or through Steam?

    If from here:

    When did you purchase C2? Just now or has it been a day or two?

    Have you checked your email spam in case the email from Scirra was sent to spam by mistake?

    If you have been waiting a couple of days, then as it says in the store, email and Tom will deal with it.

  • zenox98 I purchased through this site (not steam), just a couple minutes before I posted in here and yes, I already checked my spam folder and already contacted support but so far no reply. Do you think I should re purchase it?

    edit: I called my bank yesterday and they said the payment failed but this morning I used another card which end up in success, though still I have not received any in my inbox.

    I think an email to supportcmg@scirra .com is still your best bet, as it's Tom who deals with this part of Scirra.

  • Alright, to anyone that may have issues purchasing via card, I solved the issue by using paypal. Thanks zenox98 Tom for helping.
