Bookmark Topic (feature suggestion)

there are plenty of really helpful topics on scirra forum, so I thought it would be nice to be able to bookmark them and access them later from the user profile.

of course you can use browser bookmarks for that, but this way topics would be accessible from everywhere.

I concur! I had the same thought, too, that it would be convenient to "favorite" topics, which would be accessible in a Favorite Topics section of one's profile.

We are intending to move to phpBB3 as soon as I can, so am not keen on making many changes to the current forum at the moment. I couldn't say when we will be moving to phpbb3 I'm afraid though as it's a huge job which needs a lot of planning.

Since the forum is moved to PHPBB3, I dig up this suggestion, because it seems very useful ! Because more accessible than a browser bookmark. Cherry on the cake would be a dropdown list of bookmarks in the header of the forum (rather than in our profile page, wich needs one more click). Perhaps there is a plug-in for this in PHPBB3 ?

Otherwise (ie you have no time for this), browser bookmarks will do the trick As it is a "comfort" suggestion.

The bookmark feature works. I've been using it already.

Try it on this page, there is a 404.

But on this page , I just tried and it works (but cannot remove it via the unbookmark link).

Just tried to bookmark and agree it now returns 404. It works, then stops. Tom must be playing as usual

I could remove the other day. Guess Tom is doing things in the backend.

Bookmarking doesn't work. I'm also getting the 404 Error.

Issue is now fixed thanks for reporting. When we do URL rewriting, it can cause some links to break. Please let me know if you find any more.

It seems that the page "start" parameter troubles the bookmarking/unbookmarking (and perhaps other parameters in the URL).

It's ok for page 1.

Bookmark work, but it was hard for me to find.

Perhaps add the bookmark feature to the top of the thread instead of the very bottom (below the reply) as it is right now?

Also, it would be great to bookmark certain pages in a long thread or individual posts too
