  • Hello. My ebook on how to make money with Flippa and C2 daily is now in the Scirra Store. I've been using Flippa for about four months now and so far generated over $800 in revenue. I use a technique called App Flipping. It's basically taking the same source .capx and changing the images to make it like a new app. The eBook will tell you more how to get started, but here are the examples of App Flipping. People actually buy these reskinned app to build up their app portfolio and want to increase their passive income with ad monetization.

Income Proof of some of my apps sold to winner bidders:

Thanks, I'm currently working on a website that will have great resources for C2 developers. HTML5 Licensing seems more rare and harder as the years progress and I'm not good when it comes to marketing apps that I developed, so I just decided to go the App Flipping route and make apps for others that want to build an app portfolio to make money from. While making new apps to sell on Flippa only can make about $1 to $100 dollars per app, mature apps that had great amount of downloads with revenue proof that you made a good amount of money can make you $1,000+..

    For example, this app..

  • It is really interesting but the odd questions is; how are they going to transfer the game?

Are they giving up the whole account with the game in it?

No you don't transfer your account to them.. Just only the game..

In my eBook, I talk about how to transfer the game to them, but you will only need to specify which game you want to transfer to them. That's why having an unique app id for each app is critical.

lol seen this thread so many times just Flippa name wouldn't made any sense, now i realize it does Flip + App< backwards FlipApp.....Genius <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_geek.gif" alt=":geek:" title="Geek"> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised"> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing"> .... interesting and yea the idea of changing the graphics its good, but only if you release the same app on different websites, or markets... i mean you can scratch some cash of the same game over and over, just youl lose fame on your developer, people will notice you for having same game but with different graphics not sure if thats a to good idea in end. but the flippa program i think i tried it some time ago , and it does look promising, im really considering your e book <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> but i have to wait to get some free time and more content in my hands.

  • I can't really see how anyone would benefit from this, other than people who want to milk dry a simple games. It will only flood the marketplace with cheap copies of the same games with different graphics. Do we really need more clones???

In my honest opinion, you should do what you need to do help you pay bills. Look how many cheap knockoffs of Flappy Bird we had and how many people made money from it. The market is already flooded with clones, where have you been?? Hell, even the big companies are cloning games and I can name a few games that uses the same code with different graphics. App discovery in itself is difficult without paying money. Yes, you can get organic downloads from ASO, but even that still not reliable as you have to constantly have to put in work maintaining proper keywords just to keep your app relevant.

Companies like Glu, EA, Rovio, BANDAI NAMCO, and other major companies are dominating the app stores with their discovery of their games.. They can easily throw millions on advertising and think nothing of it. Everything has a cheap knock off clones.. Beats Audio headphones, Nike Shoes, even consoles like the Wii.. but people still buy them? Of course.. if things are cheap, people sometimes go the extra mile to cheaper things that may not last as long as the real counterpart. In the end, everything is a business. Can't count how many of the same games are in the market. Which I'm aware that 97% of the market's apps are not original.

I'm not worried and don't care about how others think of me as a developer. I've built game from scratch using Construct 2. (For example, Deadly Space Boss Arena HD (http://dsbahd.com/) and I've reskinned games, so I have intermediate to advanced knowledge of C2.

  • Bought this book yesterday.

Book is great! I would personally rate the books at 4.5 out of 5 stars only because it has about 8 pages and I would like to see there more topics covered or FAQs relating to selling apps. For example, while reading it, I came up with a question and I had to email an author. But he helped me right away!

Plus he sends you free capx files, so it is a bonus!

And I have already made my first 10 bucks for 1 night!

    See for youself https://flippa.com/5414835-roll-the-dice

And The action even is not over =)

    Thanks for the book, man!
