Others have mentioned this before and I'm wondering if 
Tom knows why this is the case?
In the mean time, is it a viable option just to delete your old submission and then reupload your new one. Maybe change a few things in the Project properties like it's name and version before submission?

Yeah. That might be a good idea just to delete it and re upload. The only reason I don't want to delete it completely and re upload it, is because it is part of a game jam that only accepts entries up until March 31st, so if I re-upload it it'll look like I had made the game past the due date.
