Is JS coding also useful?

I am assuming that everything in Construct 2 can be recreated through core javascript programming. I was wondering if it is beneficial or not to learn javascript while making games with Construct 2, is it ever going to be required? I can code my own games in UDK with uscript so I already have some experience with scripting languages.

If you want to make your own plug-ins, it's useful. If not, there's not much use for JS in Construct 2.

Knowing Javascript will never be required, but if you do know it, it's useful since you can make your own plugins and behaviors with the Javascript SDK.
