  • How retro is retro?

    I've always loved PC homebrews.

    1) Liero

    2) C-Dogs

    3) Paintball Party Online (Don't know how retro is retro, this was 1990s)

    4) Mario Wars (when in was in DOS)

    5) Generally

    6) Gauntlet

    7) Sonic the Hedgehog 2

    8) Mega Man & Bass

I was born with siblings, so I typically loved multiplayer games (played on one computer with splitscreen)

  • pixel Perfick: I wanted to add a couple that others had posted but I refrained from posting a list of dupes :P plus I really do like the titles from my list =]

  • Patriick Pacman, defender and gauntlet are most duped so far, I think that's your top 3 right there!... proper games...<tips hat>

  • Here are some of my favorites:

    1. Metroid

    2. The Legend of Zelda

    3. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

    3. Duck Tales

    4. Kid Icarus

    5. Willow

  • NES

    -Megaman 3

    -Shatterhand

    -Blue Shadow/Shadow Warriors

    SNES

    -Megaman X2

    -Terranigma

    -Hagane

    -Ninja Warriors

  • My Top 10 fav retro games of all time here in no particular order:

    Ghosts n Goblins (Arcade)

    Ghouls n Ghosts (Arcade)

    Castlevania (NES)

Dracula X Rondo of Blood (TurboDuo)

    Final Fight (Arcade)

    Robocop (Arcade)

    Rastan (Arcade)

    Splatterhouse (Arcade)

    Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES)

    Sunset Riders (Arcade)

Although I do like the ports of these games, they aren't in my top favorites due to overall changes or "game destroyed due to hardware sucks" issues.

Gauntlet is a favorite but not top 10 for me. Not enough color and speed for my caffeinated brain anymore.

I might be from the 70's but I never cared for Atari aside of a few games. I was an Intellivision kid. Burger Time and Tron Deadly Discs get an honorable mention for that system. I still play them on the real hardware!
