Hi everybody!
I'm new here and just about to buy Construct. Forgive me if this has been answered before or if it is an obvious answer that I could've found somewhere easily.
I would like to know how those of you who design graphics in Adobe Illustrator (or really any software) like to export your PNG artwork for best quality and file size for Construct 3.
My focus points:
- Resolution, e.g. 72 ppi?
- What are your go-to image dimensions, e.g. 128x128px?
- Color space, e.g. sRGB?
- Any resampling?
- Anti-aliasing settings?
- Interlaced or not?
And when would you change these settings for different art styles? (If you ever change them to cater for something specific)
I intend to make PC games so I doubt there is any noticable memory or performance impact on most modern PC's with regards to loading "simple-enough" graphic assets, but I like the idea of not having larger asset sizes for no benefit if some of these parameters can be used to mitigate that
I'm sorry if this is a useless question in the grand scheme of development, but I'm just curious as to what standards others have set for their projects to make them as resource/time-friendly while still looking as good as you intended it to in the final product.
