Retro 2D racing game - my first dive into Construct-2

Hi everyone, I just started using Construct-2 and I am thinking of reviving a retro 2D racing game as my first attempt to produce a quick project to learn construct-2. Anyone has any comment on what I may have to look out for?

I have been watching some videos on developing 2D games using Construct-2.I was really impressed by how easy it is to create a simple game and yet it has advance functions to develop more complex games.

Just to get my hands "dirty", I decided to create a simple retro arcade racing game for the following reasons : I only need very simple graphic assets like a background containing a road with boundary and a top down image of a car.
