Not really, I use dropbox because I can simply save the folder from C2 and have the app auto upload and grab the link from the file browser. I'll try bitballons but I want the simplest/quickest option possible. I use this for prototypes not final products, which I can host on my own website or game platform.

BitBalloon is OK but I get random unexplained errors so it's kind of like a lottery on whether my prototype will quickly launch. I've tried Neocities on ashley's request and it seems fine, you just drag the files in and it launches instantly on your website.

    Thanks, I'll try that out.

Okay neocities seems pretty fast for uploading. Will use this service for now. But ogg extension doesn't supported in free version.

The live site looks like it's working just fine here.

thanks! github.io pages works like a charm and very easy to setup and use. It loads way faster, than dropbox.

I may use BitBalloon as a replacement to Dropbox.

rexrainbow - Nice idea of using GitHub.

It looks like right now new folders can't host HTML, but old existing folders can. I would guess this is Dropbox's way of phasing it out gradually without breaking too much at once. I would guess it is only a matter of time before they turn off existing folders too, so probably time to start re-hosting content if you're using that...

This is really annoying - I have some bug reports filed with browser vendors that use public Dropbox HTML

I just uploaded a draft of my game to itch.io today.

How do I put it on Facebook apps?

"As a result, we’ll soon be ending support for the Public folder. Dropbox Basic users will be able to use the Public folder until March 15, 2017. After that date the files in your Public folder will become private, and links to these files will be deactivated. Your files will remain safe in Dropbox."

Soon all the shared files like .capx examples in older posts will be made redundant. Not fun.

You can use Github pages and Firebase hosting to host your files. It's free.
