Car skid Screeching tyres sound problem

I hope someone can help me with this problem.Im creating a top down racing game.The problem is that i have no clue on how to create the screeching tyres sound when the car is skidding.The car must make the noise only when the car is skidding.When the car recovers from the skid the screeching tyres sound must stop.If someone could create a demo cap of this then it would be great.

The trick is figuring out when the car is skidding, the rest is easy. Basically if the angle of motion is different than the sprite angle then it's skidding.
