  • Hi

I'm currently making my first game in Construct, I've already done the ghost shooter tutorial and played around with some of the options. In the game that I'm making, the player that you control (Platform movement) will be able to jump towards the position of the mouse and land on either the walls or the ceiling and then be able to walk.

(The player started at the bottom and when you click on the star you launch towards it, and end up on the ceiling)

How can I change the gravity of the player to allow this? Is there a way to jump in a straight line without having gravity getting in the way? I really want this to work but I cannot figure out how to do it. Please, if you know how this works, explain it in this thread.

    Thanks in advance,

    Redoxe

  • I don't know what you want to achieve, but you can change the gravity by actions.

    Click on +New action

pick the character's sprite with platform behavior

then click platform tab and there is Set gravity

  • Yeah but how do I switch between having the gravity send me to the wall and then to any of the other sides? I want to be able to walk on all the sides of the screen.

  • I've tried to make an example. Is this what you're after?
