Possibility of a tutorial book on Construct

They think it's funny to insult people and calling them trolls etc.I have never experienced this on other indie forum's.Sorry for dropping you this way , But i don't want to do anything when im being insulted this way.

If someone is insulting or trolling you then feel free to hit the report button. We can't do anything about it unless we see it happening.

I was insulted many times in chat! Did you do anything about it? NO! Did the fact that you were the one doing the insulting have anything to do with it? Maybe! Will we be on Judge Judy? Hope so! I've put in a claim....

I have found the Construct community to be friendly unless met with hostility, in which case they respond accordingly. Either way - this conversation is off topic and should either end or continue in private messages with the appropriate parties.

I wish that was totally accurate, but it's definitely not. Unfortunately, there has been plenty of evidence to the contrary as I've witnessed a number of situations where people were attacked, condescended to and more, just for asking a simple question, politely making suggestions, or showing some work they've done, etc., and I've complained about that a number of times before. I do agree however that this is off-topic.

newton : Count me out ,I don't want to Contribute anything anymore.Im only getting insults when i try to give an opinion about something on these forums.Some even told me that im stupid and know nothing about Construct.Well i have been doing programming and indie games for over 10 years now so Construct is a synch to work with.I even made plugin's for Construct which i will never release because of these insults i get.

They will probably have something clever to say about this now.I tried to redeem myself of the past mistakes i made on these forum's but they just cannot seem to let the past go.

Youll always find morons (like meee) who will disagree with you or will behave unfriendly. Dont get whiny, laugh about it

Ergh, I'm locking this thread. Seems to have turned in to "typical internet".

I do try to keep these forums friendly and fun, but it's a difficult and very subjective job for the admins + mods to keep everything running smoothly for everyone. I think we do have a good community here, but it's not perfect (show me a perfect community on the internet ). If you have a problem you can contact the admins directly, but don't get in to arguments and please don't chime in with "once I saw someone being mean" either, since it will only further aggravate.

Remember (this is true of all the internet) that people regularly say things they'd never say to your face. Try not to take it too seriously.
