Optionally Save resources apart.

hi, is there a way to save the resoruces apart and not to include them into the main cap file? optionally maybe... to make the exe lighter and faster to load...

As far as I'm aware resources do not bog down exes to any noticeable degree at small levels (eg, an exe of 50mb is unnoticeably slower than one of 1mb). However, when you start to bundle AVIs for cutscenes and numerous MP3s, it's a fair consideration.

I'll see about getting this done sooner or later.

We're aiming to have most objects load files either from resources or from disk, like the Directsound object - it can load WAV files from either - so in future, it should be possible to at least manually set it up whichever way you prefer.
