Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • Yeah, I always wait a couple of days after asking just to be sure. There's no rush.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Hmm, still some crashes while modifying parameters directly in Event List.

Some of window controls does not work properly (like combobox drop down) and some of their events does not work also.

By the way, when you're building plugin, rearranging actetable make construct to crash when you load a previous cap that use that plugin and you go to the event editor. I understant that ace table entries order can't be change, but it would be great to not crash and to tell what event is problematic. Thanks in advance

  • Could someone make clear to me if this fixes families completely?

Construct shouldn't crash at runtime when using families anymore, but this bug is still present http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2978205&group_id=207820&atid=1003219

  • Darrrnnnnnn

  • Just had my first ever crash on load.

Just double-clicked a .cap and got a message box showing the error:

"There is not enough video memory to open this frame editor. Please close some other editors and try again."

I've got a 1GB Nvidia 9800GT and have never had a problem with any game or program. The .cap in quesion is the Super Platform (wip) from the Tutorial section. Closing Construct and trying the load again worked fine.

Just thought I'd throw this one, just in case.

    **Update**

Bloody Nvidia! It was the latest driver update that caused it not to work. Went back to a previous Nvidia driver release and everything is fine again. It does show that having the latest drivers isn't always the best way to go

Panic over. Move along...nothing to see here!

    Grinning?

  • I don't get any errors at my end although I haven't really tested everything. Just a quick question. About the save file plugin or object on System, has that been fully working now? I mean, does that save every variable that you have in your game?

  • And where is Bone Movement Behavior? Anyone found it? Help?

  • NugMan

It's in the same place as the "platform movement" behavior. If it is not there, reinstall construct.

    Seriously?

    ...

What's wrong with me, it's just right in there.

Soooo... all other things looks working... stable?

Btw - "stable" works like magic word from Harry Potter. Just say "stable" and "file was downloaded >9999 times" granted.

  • Unstable for me, I install 0.99.96 under WXP SP2, and the icons and fonts don't show well...

I reinstall the OS and still have the same problem.

Segoe UI font is not bundled with Windows XP, even SP2.

    From wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segoe) :

[quote:i86ka0yc]The Segoe UI font family can be obtained as part of Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows Vista or Windows 7. Certain Segoe fonts, but not Segoe UI, were included in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, replacing Trebuchet MS.

Segoe UI is installed into Windows XP if the user installs Windows Live Messenger, or Windows Live Mail, which are available as free downloads.

    Ashley didn't mention that.

  • Thanks NUGMAN!!!! Now I can use 09996

  • This is definitely the most stable release on my PC. Thanks a lot, devs!
