My Project - Haymaker: A Boxing Adventure

Hey everyone! Wanted to take the time to showcase something I have been working on for a little while now. Its called "Haymaker"

I will have a full summery of the game below but I know people like things short and sweet so The game is boxing game with a deep story surrounding the main character (Jackie Elliot)

Haymaker is an indie boxing adventure game that takes place in an 80s fictional rust belt city Kint. You play as Jackie Elliot, a troubled punk destined for a life of crime. One night when hiding from the cops, Jackie breaks into a nearby building when he encounters Mac Murphy, an old boxing legend whose career was cut short by a drive by shooting. The rest of the journey goes from there. You will be able to explore the city, grow your relationships with your friends and encounter adversity as you try to figure out your path in life.

Right now I am a single developer so juggling everything is a little tricky but I am really enjoying the process!

Great pixel art and really captures an element of the 'Rocky' style boxing story vibe, looking forward to seeing more progress. Is the core game play the boxing or exploring the city and training?

Thanks!! Growing up I was a big fan of Mike Tysons Punch Out!! I always wanted a story with it though so I wanted to make a exploration game with a boxing mixed in with it.
