Call function from external script

I amnot able to get this working, please can someone tell me about how can this be achieve.

I did tried this example

but I am getting

ReferenceError: Addition is not defined

when calling this Addition function from the action script...

I have tried replicating the project to a new one, am I missing some steps to make this function from external script being recognised in events...

in the example the function is named "add" not "Addition", did you maybe rename it only in one place?

yes Sir, I am aware that name has to be same.

I created a script in Scripts folder then create a function called 'Addition' in it,

further went back to the event tab and tried calling the function from an action event,

the word Addition does show up in autocomplete, however while playing I am getting the error of Addition is not defined.

Am I missing something? it should have worked right...

You need to use a script with the purpose set to 'Imports for events' and import anything you want to be able to use in scripts in event sheets, otherwise it will be undefined. The links I provided previously cover this.
