Currently, when I make any change in a plugin and want to test it, I need to:
- pack it to c3addon
- open Addon Manager in C3
- import the plugin
- restart C3
- open a test project and test
This takes a lot of time. Is there a faster way?

You can setup Developer Mode, although it's only slightly better. Most of the time the code gets cached and won't update, so I'm constantly copying the addon folder and uninstalling and installing at the new location.

I really recommend you use C3_IDE to make C3 plugins:

github.com/armandoalonso/c3IDE
It does SO much for you. It can open c2addons and c3addons and auto generate the project from them (most of the time)

It generates all the JSON for you, it auto generates common code, it allows you to setup ACEs in only a few seconds, and most of all, it comes with an integrated web server that will allow you to easily host developer mode addons for very fast testing.

It works for plugins, behaviors AND effects btw.

Just piling on here, c3IDE & developer mode is the bestest!

My only wish is that it supported Mac :), that being said the author added a great feature, so I can have a node server on my Mac monitor/serve the c3IDE compiled files on my Parallels Windows VM which is running c3IDE.

It's really nice.

Also the c3IDE server is set up not to cache, so c3IDE plugin updates are available on C3 reload.

On the Mac side I am using nodemon/node/express as my server, which restarts on changes to my plugin dir, so it's also always up to date on C3 reload (no cache issues.)
