I was wondering is there a newer (easier) way to implement the 1,000 separator for currency or large figures, and even decimals in the game yet?

You can do this with regex:

Set formattedNumber to RegexReplace(str(number), "(?<=\d)(?=(\d\d\d)+(?!\d))", "g", ",")

number=12345678.22

result=12,345,678.22
