Trouble exporting to Xcode

  • I am getting this error message when I try to export to iOS Xcode format, but it works fine when I do Cordova. Anyone know why? Thank you.

Also, I am trying to update my app on the app store, but I am having trouble. The first time I managed to get it on there, it was a very complex workaround, and I am just trying to skip that if possible.

  • I am getting this as well. Any workaround or update? It's been 2 months?

  • I think I discovered the issue! The apostrophe breaks it. It shouldn't though. I think we need someone on the construct team to look at this for sure.

  • Just checked the export, works fine.

    Windows 10

    Chrome latest version without plugins.

  • I am still getting this issue. When the project name contains an apostrophe it breaks. If it remove it, it works just fine. Can someone test this?

  • OK I made a brand new test file to test this issue out.

    Requirements:

    • Project Name must contain an apostrophe (I used the name "test or don't test")
    • Using the MobileAdvert object (I filled all fields with test)

Maybe this is fixed now with the new admob update? Which is in beta I believe.

It's possible other objects/plugins may also break the xcode export but this is what I was able to discover in my testing.
