I'm using the desktop version of Construct 3 and creating a project that moves and creates files, but it only works when I export my project. How do I test out my project without having to export it every time?

NWJS should work in preview in the Desktop App. Did you download and install everything from here?

Well, I don't know, it should work. Try re-installing, make sure you are following the instructions precisely. Run NW.exe file, not any other Construct shortcut you might have.
