How do I stop the game from running when player dies and add a restart option?

When you die in this game I want the monsters to stop spawning and the game to end, and maybe a button that says "click here to start"

I'd also like an opening screen that says "click here to start"

Fairly simple if you add an Instance Variable to whichever object you want spawn control on. When the hero dies, it can be set to False and spawning stops.

I tried adding the instance variable to the monster, and tried a few things. I can't seem to figure out how to make spawning a condition when boolean is set to true

In your shared pic, there doesn't seem to be a Condition check for the particular instance variable. It doesn't have to be Instance Variable, it can be a simple Boolean variable as well.

I ended up making a new layout sheet for the player to go to and even added a click here to restart button to go back to the previous layout. Thank you anyway
