How Do I Make Smooth Animations When My Buttons Scale Between Sizes?

Hey everyone,

This might be a confusing question for you, but how do I make smooth animations (or transitions) between sizes when I mouse over my buttons, and vice versa? I looked everywhere on the internet and found nothing.

I have a basic knowledge of Construct 3 and I already have the mouseover code sorted.

Try the 'Tween' Behavior. It lets you trigger smooth or exponential (or like 50 other) adjustments to things like size, opacity, color etc.

ex:

Condition: Mouse Cursor is over Object (Button)

Action: Tween (Two Properties) (Size) Over X seconds

- X (width)

- Y (height)

Else: Tween (Two Properties) (Size) to Default size Over X seconds

Just make sure to add "For each button" if there are multiple buttons, otherwise they may get stuck in enlarged state.

For each Button
Button Tween is NOT playing
... Mouse Cursor is over Button : Tween to larger size
... Else: Tween to Default size
