I was looking for a solution on the forum, but all the links go either to C2 or to broken links

once someone gave me a project in which it was shown how you can make ripples in the photo by clicking on the photo with the mouse and so that this ripple increases

I know that this was done using a sprite with some kind of circle with black and white color and then she somehow hid and made realistic ripples

but that was a long time ago and now I don’t know how to do it. I'm trying to do this, but something goes wrong with me
