How do I Reset Global Variables (apart from one)?

Hi guys

There is a handy action in Construct that allows you to 'Reset Global Variables'.

I have one variable that I do not want to reset, is there an easy way to bypass this particular variable, or do I have to do it manually and list them one by one?

You could store it in a LocalStorage at the end before you reset.

Then when start layout you set back it value from LocalStorage.

Maverick1912 - Thank you :) This seems like it might be the only way. The only issue is that there can a small delay with loading from local storage and therefore a delay on updating text etc.

You could do it in a function, use a local variable that you set to the global variable you want to keep, reset all global variables, then set that one global variable back to the value stored in the local variable.

That should avoid any delay with Local Storage.
