Platform game with backgroundmusic.

Hi! I have found some posts about similar things here in the forum. But my problem isnt getting fixed by it. I got a really simple platformer on the go here for kids. I will use this to teach them basics of construct.

When you start the game in the game menu the song in the menu stops and the level one song starts as it should. when you get to the end of level 1 i got a layout between level 1 and level 2 that should play another song. i try to stop the level 1 song when finishing level 1 but it wont. thats my problem. it just overlaps the layout between level 1 and 2 song. and when i enter level 2 that song also starts. ill put the file here if anyone would like to help me with this issue.

Put something in the audio tag, other than ""

Yes, i have tried that. The name of the sound that should stop play. But it is the same.. it says if i dont put anything there it should stop everything before next layout. But it does not do that.

Well I tried it and it works. If you reference the background music in the start and stop events with a tag then it will stop it. The reason the song is still playing in level 2 is because you don't try to stop the 'sad' music from playing.

Aaaah i see. and i got the ting with "tags" now also. Ill get it.
