  • Hello World,

I am making a checkers game, but I am stuck. I can not make the player (Pawn) move independently. This is my first project and it is frustrating, and to further my request I do not know if I'll be able to make it capture The Opponent, But one thing at a time.

    Please help me..!?

  • What do you mean by independently?

To have a specific object be affected by actions, first use conditions to pick the correct object or instance.

Have you followed the beginners tutorials yet?

  • Hi, (For the Checkers Game Look-a-like!)

Thank you for replying, but what I meant is: Do you know when you tap on one pawn and it shows you the destination to move forward to.., well I do not know the processing!

I did pin my customized Pawns on Them sprites (circle) which are on Tile Movement (Behaviour), And then on the preview (Game) when I press the Top-arrow keys on my computer..ALL THE PAWNS MOVE FORWARD.

Now, heads up! I just wanted to move one pawn..to a certain spot.. it could be one or three squares up, left or right..!!!

So, all I am asking is: Does it because I preview it on a Non-touched-screen or my precipitation.?

Since I want to learn as I go...

Please Do direct me to a Good Tutorial, If...!??
