How do i output letters to windows pc like a keyboard

Hi all,

I've made a virtual touch screen keyboard that outputs letters to a text box but now instead of the text box I would like it to output to windows (like for it to act the same as a plugged-in usb keyboard)

Is this possible? I've been unable to find any info that would help.
