Do I need a new event page for each layout's actions?

I have a start page that I have a button designated to the start and wanted it to go to a named layer, but it doesn't work. but I have another button on another layout that works fine to go to another layout.

Can you assist? I will be having several buttons that either go to the next layout or layer.

I don't understand what you mean. You can have one or multiple event sheets in your project, it's up to you how you organize your events. Just make sure to assign correct event sheet to each layout (in layout properties).

Check that you assigned the correct event sheet to your start page layout.

If this doesn't help, you need to share your project file.

And? Did you assign it to the layout?
