how to do a health bar ?

i tried all tutorials nothing works.

You can do something like this:

On UpgradeHealth clicked
 Set max_health=120
 HealthBar set width to 500*(current_health/max_health)
 Set current_health=120


On every tick: 
 HealthBar set width to lerp(self.width, 500*(current_health/max_health), dt*2)

how to get the text to show like if your hp now is 1080 and your max hp is 1080

i want it show 1080 / 1080, i put text to "" & sprite.hpnow

and when i run the layout, every time i click upgrade it makes the text "1080" and not 1080 / 1080

Set text to Player.hp_now & "/" & Player.hp_max

it made the text disappear
