How do I fix unable to open project?

Whenever I try to open my file it shows this message:

I had dealt with stuff like this before so I knew to check the console where it shows:

I tried my backup save and got the same error. Please help me fix this I have been working on this for far too long to lose it all. :(

I just reread her message and now change that question lol. How do I switch versions?

You can access different versions at construct.net/en/make-games/releases.

Generally speaking it's editor.construct.net/rxxx where x is the version number you want for the direct link.

By the way Ashley is male, as far as I know.

/ is not allowed in folder names as of r317. However this still shouldn't prevent the project from opening.

In r308.2 I can create a subfolder named open/close in the project bar, save, and open the project in r317; it opens successfully and automatically renames the folder to openclose. So this kind of error shouldn't happen. Can you share your project file or file an issue so I can make sure other similar projects open successfully?

Actually try opening this in r318 - I think it might be a bug we already fixed in that release.
