  • so a few months back i made a microphone detection system in my game where if you were too loud in real life it would alert the enemies near you and they would start shooting and you would know since a bar beside you would constantly be changing its height to show how loud you are. this system was working great until recently. i like to save files of my games versions so i can split them up into different parts when i need to publish them to make up for the lack of events the free version of construct has (basically like having multiple discs for the same game back in the ps1 era) and i saw that for some reason at the very first version of the second file of my game the microphone system didn't work. i went back to the final version of the first part of my game and it worked. I've checked basically everything to try and fix it but nothings working. i deleted all my games events except for the ones about the microphone system (and got them back with ctrl+z) and it didn't work. i copied the events for the bar in the official microphone input sample and that didn't work either. does anyone know how to fix this issue because I'm all out of ideas.
