How do I fix this hitbox bug?

So when my player hits an obstacle, the game ends. But, I want to give leniency to the player so it isn't miserable. So I shrunk the hitbox size. However, this did not work for some weird reason even though in all my other games it usually does. The image I added shows what the hitbox looks like. Even though I made the hitbox smaller, the top right and left corners still come into contact with the player and kill them

The hitbox should be updated for all frames of all animations, there is a quick way to do this with right-click apply to all. That might be the issue here.

That's what I thought. But 1, there are no other animations. And 2, I've aready tried that and it didn't help. Thanks for trying at least haha.

The fastest way to get help is to share your project, most likely there is a small, non obvious detail that you are missing.

Sometime because we look at our projects all the time and already have a way in which we go about solving problems it can be easy to miss stuff that is falling out of our common think patterns.

Someone else is likely to find this issues a lot quicker because they think different.
