8 direction simulation only has up/down/left/right as choices

Hi,

I am sure there is a good reason, but I am confused why the Simulate 8Direction options only includes 4 directions - up/down/let/right and not 8 options like up-right/down-right etc. This does not change when I switch the behavior between 4directions and 8directions. How do I unlock the other 4 diagonal directions?

Use two actions, for example - Simulate control Left, Simulate control Up.
