How do I create a shadow using a Drawing Canvas?

Hi there, I'm very new to Drawing Canvas's but I think they're going to work for what I'm hoping to achieve.

Essentially what I'd like to happen is...

• Player is overlapping Drawing Canvas
• Paste Player Sprite at Offset (dependent on a variable)

Is this possible?

Thought I should follow up with this so it's answered ... Yes it's doable.

1. Create a Drawing Canvas

2. Add a Horizontal & Veritcal Blur to it at 100%

3. Add s Black Tint Effect

4. Add a Bulge Effect and invert it

Boom, sidescrolling wall shadows for lights :)
