Hi guys, I am getting some pictures for the game from the pixabay site, if I want to publish the game in the future, will the images be copyrighted?
All images are copyrighted from the moment they are created. What you should be asking is what license that image has to allow you to use it. Under every Download button on Pixabay has a link to their license. Take a look at it.
