For a browser based game with text to speech (speech synthesis)...

Choosing voice URI on iPhone works fine.

But the voice never changes when you try on android.

Any ideas?

Whatever voice URI you select the android voice remains the default... how can you change it?

I was hoping to have a male voice.

The list of possible voices can be retrieved using the VoiceCount and VoiceURIAt expressions.

I believe some platforms may have only one voice, and some may not support TTS at all.
