would it be possible to do this (during runtime) with one spritefont object?

one object, meaning can I make the "2-0-1" text those four different colors in 1 object?

If you use them as separate text, using the same sprite font yes, you can. If I remember there is the color setting in the spritefont itself. Make sure to use a scale of white/grays to do the various color shades.

Also, you could apply the tint effect.

no I mean within a single object. change color within the text with css or something? I would make the sprite font text white yes.
