Hello, I'm making a paint themed puzzle game and the main character has a gun that shoots paint depending on which colour they have selected. I spent around 6 hours making a tilemap sheet a long with character art and designs because I prefer looking at sprites with actual textures before coding. I've been struggling to change each tile after its been shot due to not being able to find a way to detect the collisions. I've tried to solve it and have been searching through forums to look for an answer but most end with it being unresolved. Any help is appreciated and I would prefer to stick with the tilemap and not having to replace it with sprites.
